Scintillating cinnamon, summer lilac, and blueberry pie lift from the glass. Further examination ignites the olfactory with aromas of market fresh blackberry and black cherry. The palate is full-bodied, with notes of vanilla swirling around cassis, pulverized granite, and Danish butter cookies from the tin at grandma’s house. Voluptuous ripe tannin wreathes a persistent finish of espresso, dark chocolate, and simmering raspberry compote.
