"The 2023 13th Vineyard Reserve has aromas of blackberry, wildflowers, boysenberry, milk chocolate, white pepper, and black currants. In the palate are flavors of raspberry, warmed caramel, vanilla bean, fresh cherries, cardamom, coffee bean, cassis, and granite. The wine has iconic Howell Mountain tannin and structure. The palate is bright, lifted, and lengthy, finishing with a touch of minerality. The 2023 vintage was cool and long, producing wines that will surely age a good 10 years longer than warmer vintages.
